From the Super Bowl to SxSW, I am a seasoned events project management specialist with a proven track record. My extensive expertise spans the orchestration of various events, ranging from intimate gatherings and exclusive proprietary functions to client hospitality affairs and the seamless execution of large-scale sponsorships and broadcasts.


Over the course of my career, I have consistently delivered successful and lucrative events. I have meticulously developed a comprehensive event playbook that outlines pivotal strategies for effective planning, flawless execution, and impactful sales and partner marketing campaigns.

I served as a consultant for a global professional services firm, overseeing multimillion-dollar global alliance event sponsorships and developing an impactful event strategy playbook. This comprehensive guide optimized event ROI by aligning business and sales goals. 


Key functions included:

  • Streamlining the approval process for multimillion-dollar events.
  • Providing a clear roadmap for stakeholders and team members involved in high-value sponsorships.
  • Ensuring a comprehensive consideration of all relevant angles during the planning phase for significant events.
  • Serving as a decision-support tool throughout the lifecycle of multimillion-dollar event planning, preventing oversights.
  • Offering a reliable framework for executives and teams managing the execution of high-stakes events.

SxSW South by Southwest Austin

Experiential Event: Bringing SxSW Online

While spearheading the Digital & Social Media strategy for a leading global professional services firm, I played a pivotal role in  a market-leading, multi-million-dollar brand activation and social media campaign at SxSW. My responsibilities extended to uniting various member firms, particularly those in the technology, federal, and media entertainment sectors, to seamlessly translate the dynamic events transpiring in Austin into an impactful online presence.


The on-site engagement was marked by distinctive brand activations, ranging from the fascinating 3D printing of candy, illustrating the transformative impact of additive manufacturing on businesses, to deploying drones that elucidated how the federal government harnessed innovation for border patrol.


Our comprehensive social media approach encompassed diverse components, such as podcasting, speaking sessions, and panel discussions, live-blogging, engaging in social contests, on-site video production for online recaps, facilitating client hospitality and social meetups, ultimately culminating in an after hours concert featuring Melissa Etheridge.

Broadcast

Experiential Events: High Profile Sports & Entertainment

As the Vice President at Westwood One Radio, I led a team of nine professionals to produce major radio broadcasts and advertising promotions, curating unforgettable experiences for high-profile events like The NFL's Superbowl, The Masters, The Grammys, The NCAA Final Four, The Academy of Country Music Awards, Notre Dame Football, and The BET Awards.


In this role, my responsibilities included:

  • Coordinating travel and logistics for 25+ radio station crews and network talent, ensuring seamless live broadcasts from backstage and behind the scenes.
  • Hiring talent wranglers and booking entertainment and sports celebrities for captivating on-air interviews during events.
  • Orchestrating client hospitality, managing transportation logistics, organizing golf outings, dinners, receptions, and facilitating chalk talks.
  • Collaborating with alliance partners, such as the NFL and NCAA, to plan and execute major sponsorship promotions with key advertising clients such as Pepsi, Tylenol, Frito-Lay, and others.
